Track Facts
LIP’N – John Speedway was a quarter mile kidney shaped track that was owned by Harry Johnson and James A. Lipskie. Mini Stocks were the only division to race at this facility during the 1968 and 1969 racing seasons.
Harry, James and one of the drivers Jim Dunham were talking in the pits at Model T Speedway after the races and decided there should be a Race Track just for the Mini’s. Harry said he had the perfect spot on his farm which was located near Holstein Ontario. A month later, Lip’N – John Speedway held its first event.
