Peter Abbs was one of the photographers at Pinecrest Speedway. Peter would work the spectator side of the grandstand and get the winners pictures for each race while Ian K. Woods would be in the infield getting pit photos and accident photos. Peter had many duties at Pinecrest, including some announcing. On many occasions Peter and his wife Marilyn would go to Barrie, Sunset and Peterborough. Yesterday’s Speedways would like to thank Peter Abbs (Deceased) and his wife Marilyn for the donation of Peters photos, negatives and memorabilia.
